New Yorker: The Interrogation Story

An new article is now out by Jane Mayer in this week's New Yorker discussing some of the back story to the interrogation debate within DoD, DoJ, and the Administration. As the article's title suggests ("The Memo: How an internal effort to ban abuse and torture of detainees was thwarted") it brings to light interesting details of the controversial decision relative to DoD regulations and standing orders regarding interrogation. McNabb Article on NSA Intercepts

Matthew R. McNabb, an Assistant for National Security Affairs at McNabb Associates, P.C., and SATSA member has co-authored an article entitled "Of Bugs, The President, and the NSA: National Security Agency Intercepts Within the United States" in the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyer's (NACDL) monthly publication The Champion.
